UltraNOVA is BACK in Northern Virginia with "UltraNOVA: Rebirth"! We're bringing in talented video game music (VGM) bands not only from the DMV area, but across the country! We’ve brought together six electric, eclectic, and energetic acts that are ecstatic to perform!

Bi Score: Ian Cowell & Carrie Wood’s Bi-Coastal Goblin Brigade That Makes Music To Score To, Otherwise Known as BI SCORE! From Northern California, Ian and Carrie lay down the tastiest riffs for you to take home to your sweetheart.

Geekswag: Geekswag is a VGM rapper/singer duo from Boston, Massachusetts. BoZ and ZEN strive to bring geeky lyricism, smooth vocals, and dynamic performance energy to every show, and are thrilled to share their VGM hiphop vibes with the DMV!

Mahn: Blasting onto the stage with Dark Glory™, Mahn will tug on your sense of nostalgia with grinding heavy metal homages to video games from your formative years. Expect a musical journey through land, earth, sea, time and space!

Steel Samurai: You know that game you rented once when you were 9 and loved it and the music was amazing? Well, you’re going to hear it with Steel Samurai, a VGM band from the far away land of Baltimore, MD. Their hobbies include rocking out and melting faces.

WASD: Who says VGM is all about console tunes? This quartet brings heavy renditions of classic PC soundtracks like Quake, Command & Conquer, Unreal Tournament, and more!

Zaku: From Philadelphia, PA, this super group combines wind-synthesizer-fronted instrumental tunes inspired by 80s Japanese Jazz Fusion and New Wave of British Heavy Metal!

Peter Le x Depth Charge is a heavy and melodic band based in the DMV area. They play melancholic metal originals, video game covers, and specialize in music from the world of Splatoon. Interpretations of rock, metal, jazz, pop, and electronic songs go through their heavy rock lens.

Quick Save is simply here to deliver games, grooves and good vibes directly to you. These seven nerds started jamming together in 2020 and found that their mix of horns, synth and loud guitar meshed in a weird and wonderful way. These days, they just want to share that fun and funky vibe with you!

Tovaun "Aeoxis" Anthony of Washington D.C. is a video game enthusiast, anime aficionado, and martial arts devotee who expresses his fandom and creativity by blending Metal, EDM, Jazz, and Hip Hop to take you on a journey through the world’s familiar and unfamiliar auditory spectrums! Aeoxis weaponizes the musical and theatrical to take you on a sonic rollercoaster that will leave your spirit in a state of elation!

Lacey Johnson, THE KEYTAR KWEEN! Lacey is an incredibly engaging and energetic live performer, twisting her favorite video game music into her own style with powerful vocals and dynamic instrumentals.
